Many thanks to he Stratton PTO for funding the engaging bridge presentation from the Museum of Science.
What’s cute, has a triangle, hexagon, rhombus or square head and lives in a prairie dog burrow? Well, Yekktis of course! These adorable fictional creatures are assisting second graders with their data lessons. Each Yekktis is unique and we are using this to our advantage when playing sorting games. Ask your child the different rules he/she chose when playing the card (or iPad) game.
Today our class had a nonfiction reading celebration with Mrs. Forse’s class. Our children did a book tour of their nonfiction book selection..
I love staying connected between the classroom and the children's homes. I look forward to posting often this year! Feel free to leave comments!
