There are several summer reading incentive programs happening locally. The Robbins Library will have a presentation at Stratton soon to share their great summer reading program! Take a look at a link for book ideas at Robbins Library. If you hear of additional ideas, please let me know and I will add them!

As we start having beautiful days, we are all thinking about summer! As a mom, I am on the look-out for fun ways to keep my kids staying sharp all summer! I will post ideas I find to review and reinforce skills over the summer months. Mrs. Gigliotti just mentioned a cool game series that she bought for her son. One of the games is called "Are You Ready for 2nd Grade?" There are games for students entering k-5th grade. These can be bought online or possibly directly at the Lakeshore Learning store in Newton. Call: 617-969-1171 for product availability. I have included a link below. POST UPDATE-A staff member at Lakeshore said I could share a $10 off coupon. Use code: 9043
If you have other ideas, let me know and I am happy to pass them along! Julie Barth We hope the boys and girls from Room 4 are being great to their moms! Hope you all enjoyed the weekend! If you are able to come to the Spring Fling tonight, be sure to say hi to the DJ- Ron Barth; Mrs. Barth's brother-in-law! Don't forget bidding is still open for many silent auction items! Enjoy! ![]() Take a look at some of the amazing items and experiences that you can bid on through our Spring Fling auction site (link below). In particular, check out the Kickball with the Stars and the Minecraft lunch with Mrs. Barth!! Bidding will continue on Friday night for many items. (See item descriptions in the online catalog for more details.) The Spring Fling is this Friday. Come enjoy games, music, food and fun! We had a wonderful time celebrating Cinco de Mayo today!
