The children have been busy learning about a variety of bridges. The boys and girls have built three types of bridges; beam, deep beam and arch. The children used weights (bolts) to test the strength of the bridges they built. In addition, each child has written two lab reports. Their lab reports include; a question, a hypothesis, materials, procedures, results and a conclusion. For the students second experiment, they made a change to their first bridge. Each pair added four additional index cards. They tested to see if this would make their bridges stronger. Their work is very impressive!
