Our first graders helped our older friends with a part of their Wampanoag murals. We worked together to create trees that will be put onto the seasonal murals that show Wampanoag villages throughout the year. We can't wait to see the finished products!
Today the third grade students from Mrs. Lees class read the story "The Talking Cloth" to our first graders. In the story, a young girl learns about African Adinkra cloths. The children read about some of the symbols and colors used to represent feelings on the cloths. Our first graders helped our older friends with a part of their Wampanoag murals. We worked together to create trees that will be put onto the seasonal murals that show Wampanoag villages throughout the year. We can't wait to see the finished products!
