Mrs. barth's Washington, D.C. Trip

I am a volunteer leader for the ONE Campaign ( a non-profit, strictly non-partisan, global advocacy an campaigning organization.  ONE fights extreme poverty, hunger, and preventable disease by raising public awareness and pressing political leaders to support smart, effective policies and programs.)  I participated in an the Power Project contest which asked  ONE leaders and volunteers to recruit others to write letters to senators asking to support the Energize Africa Bill.  I was was part of the top leaders to have the most amount of letters sent to senators and I won an all expense paid trip to DC for training and lobbying at the Capitol.
Click below for more information about the contest and other winners who joined me in D.C.
